The Tax Assessor is a part of the Finance Department. They responsible for the valuation of all property in town, recording and maintenance of all real estate transfers and personal exemptions available to the taxpayers.  Information regarding all properties is available in the office. The last revaluation of all property was completed in 2005 for the 2006 tax roll. All subsequent assessments reflect values as of that date.  The next revaluation will be effective December 31, 2008.
